My Dear Ancestors,

  Thank you for being adventurous, ambitious and optimistic. You came to a strange 
land because you were not satisfied with your life as it was. Some of you were land 
gentry, others worked the land, but you all gave me an unlimited future. You were the 
true heroes and I your descendant should at least record your names.

   Whether it's with a sense of piety or that bit of piracy, that tendency to be a 
little lazy or that spark of ambition, I am what I am because of you all dearest 
ancestors.
